At a mere seventeen years old, Mikalah Gordon wowed season four "Idol" fans with not only her mature voice and attitude but also with her outgoing personality. She held her own when talking to the judges, and particularly with the ornery Simon Cowell! She even drew comparisons to music icon Barbra Streisand.
Mikalah made it to an impressive 11th place on the show that season. Because of her sense of humor and stage presence, she was asked to come back and host a pre-show for the finale that year. She also sang in the beginning medley of songs by The Beach Boys as well as later in the show with Lindsey Cardinale and singer Babyface.
