Americanidol.com would like to wish Josh Gracin a very Happy Birthday today!
While Josh Gracin was originally known as the Marine who auditioned for "American Idol," he ultimately found his way to the hearts of the viewers with his impressive voice and country style. His time on "Idol" wasn’t without problems, however, as the U.S. invaded Iraq just as he hit his stride on the show. As he explains on his website, "The toughest moment through all of this was when we were doing the show and I was staying up until four or five in the morning just watching the news and trying to keep track of how the Marines were doing over there. I felt guilty because I was singing on this show and there were fellow Marines over there in foxholes."
Ironically, his decision to stay came from a letter written by the mother of a fellow [...]
