Season 6 finalist Melinda Doolittle will return to Belmont University next month to host and perform at the universitys annual Christmas at Belmont concert in Nashville. Before graduating with a degree in commercial voice from Belmont in 1999, Melinda participated in a diversity of vocal performance groups at the university, making this concert not only a return to her alma mater, but familiar performance territory as well.
Judges, mentors, and fans alike spoke of Melindas humble nature throughout this past season and Belmont’s Dean of the College of Visual and Performing Arts Cynthia Curtis echoed these sentiments.
