Katharine McPhee is now following suit, and will make her studio acting debut in the untitled Anna Faris project. Katharine, along with Emma Stone, Rumer Willis, Kat Dennings and comedian Dana Goodman, have signed on to co-star in the comedy, which is being directed by Fred Wolf. The script, written by "Legally Blonde" scribes Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith, centers on a Playboy bunny (Faris) who gets kicked out of the Playboy Mansion and becomes the house mother to the lamest sorority on campus. Kat will play a pregnant hippy. Filming is scheduled to begin July 23 in Los Angeles. This comes on the heels of another role that Katharine recently landed. In June, she scored a role in "The Last Caller," a dark romantic-comedy indie.
